Authorized Dealer Programs
SecurTek works with our independent Authorized Dealer network to provide state-of-the-art security and monitoring services to customers throughout Canada. We rely on the experienced Dealers to do the sales and installation of the security systems, while we provide reliable monitoring. SecurTek does not compete with Dealers - we do not have our own sales or installation force. Any sales leads that come to SecurTek are passed directly on to an Authorized Dealer.
SecurTek works with Dealers to develop a program that best suits the needs of the Dealer. Our goal is to develop and foster strong long-term partnerships, which is why our programs offer such benefits as lucrative on-going revenue sharing opportunities and dealer support programs.
Dealer Support
SecurTek has a dedicated team of professionals to provide support to our Authorized Dealers. This team is available through a toll free number to provide quick responses to questions about equipment, products, commissioning and marketing. SecurTek arranges sales training sessions on such topics as upselling and closing the sale, as well as installation training programs with our equipment suppliers.
A Dealer Web Site is being developed to provide additional information and support to the Dealers. The site has information about installation guides and procedures, advertising and marketing tips, upcoming events and products and pricing. The secure site provides up-to-date information and support for dealers, as well as basic business tools.
Marketing Support
SecurTek believes that it is important to support our Authorized Dealers in growing and developing their business in order to achieve long-term success. For example, SecurTek's co-op advertising program provides funding assistance to dealers for marketing and advertising efforts. As well, we supply our partners with free emergency response cards, contracts and central station guides. Lawn signs, window decals and a variety of marketing support collateral, including general brochures for direct mail or trade shows, are also available.
Building customer loyalty and reducing customer churn is vital for long-term success in the industry, which is why SecurTek utilizes a customer contact strategy to develop relationships with customers. The strategy involves regular newsletters, customer satisfaction surveys and installation follow-up calls. As well, SecurTek is taking advantage of the trend that is seeing people exploring the web site for information about security products and services. We are continuously revamping and reworking our web site so it provides useful information to potential and current customers. Research is also important - we are able to learn about our customers needs and expectations, thereby enabling us to more effectively target potential customers.
Customer Support
Today’s customers want simplicity and convenience, which is why SecurTek has established a customer care centre. The attendants at this “one-stop shop” can provide information on Authorized Dealers in a customer’s area, answer any billing questions and provide basic systems information. All this is available through a toll-free number or via email using on-line forms.
Administrative and Billing Applications
Billing and collections can take up valuable time from growing your business, therefore SecurTek offers our Dealers the convenient, worry-free option of having us do the billing. Pre-authorized payments, either through credit card or automatic withdrawal from bank accounts, can be made monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Customers can pay by cheque quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
