Stove Guard

Stove Guard can help you maintain your independence, feel safer and create an environment where everyday worries become less stressful. This easy-to-use device helps eliminate or reduce the number one cause of residential fires.

Did I turn the stove off? Anyone can be distracted while cooking. Stove Guard automatically detects unattended cooking by monitoring your movement in the cooking area and, if there is none, it will automatically shut off power to the stove. The shut down time can be adjusted to your personal needs. Stove Guard will automatically reset when you return to the cooking area.

Stove Guard is for everyone - people with Alzheimer's or those who are easily distracted, caregivers who need to look after others, people who are in a rush to get out the door in the morning, or community centres and group homes that have facilities used by many people.
